US President, Barack Obama, says that Republican presidential candidate, Mr Donald Trump, is unfit to be president.

Mr Obama wondered why Mr Trump is still being supported by his party faithful.

“There has to come a point at which you say: ‘Enough’,” BBC quoted the American President.

The criticism comes after the New York billionaire attacked the parents of a fallen US soldier who spoke out against him.

President Obama said that he had had policy differences with former Republican presidents and candidates, stating that he never thought they could not function as president.

He had urged the people of America to sustain his legacy by carrying Hillary Clinton to victory at the November elections.

Obama lauded Mrs Clinton as the most qualified aspirant ever to run for the White House.

He said that the electorates faced a choice between hope and fear, attacking “home-grown demagogue” Republican, Mr Trump.
