The session could become stormy if the lawmakers decide to deliberate on the contentious issue of alleged budget padding raised by the removed Chairman of Appropriations Committee, Honourable Abdulmumin Jibrin.
Speaking on Channels Television’s programme, Politics Today on Monday, Honourable Jibrin also dismissed reports that he had over one million pounds domiciled in an account allegedly operated by him in the UK.
The lawmaker further alleged that he had evidence from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission that Speaker Yakubu Dogara diverted more than two federal projects to his personal businesses.
He said he would continue to present his claims even if the House members decide to suspend him at the resumption of plenary.
The lawmaker alleged that the claims were concocted to see what they could bring in as allegation against him.
