A former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Dr. Obadiah Mailafia, also acknowledged that the cost of corruption has brought unimaginable consequences.
He, however, noted that there should be a balance and urged the government to provide a clear blueprint for economic revival alongside the war against corruption.
A former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mr Nuhu Ribadu and a member of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Advisory Committee, Femi Odejide, also gave their view on the corruption fight.
