Court, Wrestler, Jimmy SnukaA judge on Tuesday dismissed the murder charge against former professional wrestler, Jimmy Snuka.

The 73-year-old was charged with ‘third degree’ murder and involuntary manslaughter for the 1983 death of his then-girlfriend, Nancy Argentino.

His legal team had argued that he had terminal cancer and only had months to live.

They added that the Fijian also suffers from a bad case of dementia that he doesn’t realise he’s been charged with murder.

The Prosecutors, however, believed that Snuka was faking the dementia to get out of the case.

The judge consequently dismissed the case on ground that she felt the former wrestle was too mentally gone to stand trial.

She said she was convinced he would not regain competency, stressing “that it would be unjust to resume the prosecution”.
