Atletico Madrid Coach, Diego Simeone says his side would have to be at its best to beat Barcelona in tonight’s second leg of the king’s Cup semi-final.
Coach Diego Simeone’s side are aiming for their first Cup final appearance since the 2012-13 campaign title win.
“The only result that would satisfy me is to reach the final,” Simeone said.
Atletico, who have not won at Barcelona since a 3-1 victory on February the 5th, 2006, need to score at least two goals to progress.
Goals from Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi gave Barcelona a 2-0 lead in the first leg in Madrid, though a strong second-half display and an Antoine Griezmann strike gave Simeone’s side a glimmer of hope.
Atletico will not have midfielder Gabi on board against Barcelona due to suspension.
