
Her daughter Ayomikun had died on July 3 reportedly due to complications from sickle cell disease weeks ago.
Shortly after her daughter’s death, the actress unveiled a foundation, ‘The Ayomikun Tongue Out Foundation,’ which is established to carry on the values that her daughter stood for – charitable causes, music, and comedy.
And now She is on the set of Tade Ogidan’s new movie, “Gold Statue”.
Judith Audu who also plays a role in the movie praised Oshodi for her professionalism on the set despite her loss.
In an Instagram post, Audu described the actress as a super strong woman.
She said “So I met this awesome Woman for the first time on the set of @goldstatuemovie, she recently lost her daughter, when she first got on set, it was almost impossible to hold back tears when talking to her.
“The day of shoot finally came and I saw a powerful actor, she was a different person, she transformed, and I was stunned, it was so nice to see her smile, the energy and passion was so amazing.You are a super strong woman and I pray the Lord grant you more strength and Fortitude to bear The irreplaceable loss.”
‘Gold Statue’ stars the actress alongside veteran actor Richard Mofe Damijo, Alibaba, Sola Sobowale, Gabriel Afolayan, Segun Arinze, Norbert Young, Yvonne Jegede, Greg Ojefua, Kenny Blaq, Adeniyi Johnson among others.
