The European Union has donated 26million Euros to aid free movement of persons across the region.
This donation will enhance trade and migration.
The EU revealed this during the Heads of ECOWAS Immigration, hosted by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) currently holding in the nation’s capital, Abuja.
The Federal Government on its part has proposed the establishment of a migration training academy to support among other things regional integration and halt struggling.
A huge expanse of land has been made available in Tuga, Kebbi State to actualize this purpose.
The aim of the meeting is to review the irregularities in the system as well as improve data sharing.
