President Muhammadu Buhari has met with the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, in Abuja.

The meeting between the President and the party leader held on Monday at the Presidential Villa in the Federal Capital Territory.

Briefing State House correspondents after the meeting, Tinubu said there was no friction between him and the President.

He also denied allegations that a cabal exists in the Buhari administration, saying he has confidence in the leadership of the President.

President Buhari also met with the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Yakubu Dogara.

Also in attendance include the APC National Chairman, John Oyegun, as well as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari.
