The identical twin sisters abducted last month in Dauran town of Zurmi Local Government Area, Zamfara State, have regained their freedom.
A family source, Ibrahim Abubakar in an interview with Channels Television claims that the sum of N15 million was paid as ransom to secure the release of the 16-year-old twins, Hassana and Hussaina.

Meanwhile, the spokesman, Zamfara Police Command, Muhammad Shehu, who confirmed the release of the girls said details of what transpired and led to their freedom would soon be made available.
The girls were earlier abducted on October 16th reportedly on the eve of their wedding ceremony.
