Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday marked some properties under investigation in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
The properties include a radio station on test transmission, a private hospital, a filling station, a private residential building, and an event centre.
Some staff at the sealed facilities said the officials told them to continue with their activities as the structures were only marked for investigation and not sealed.
A member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Samuel Omotosho who claimed ownership of the marked hospital, said it will be out of order for the EFCC to seal his property or link it to anyone.
Meanwhile, the former governor of the state, Mr Ayodele Fayose has however denied ownership of the structures as being rumoured in some quarters.
