Royal Display As Muslims Celebrate Eid-El-Fitri

Muslims in Nigeria joined their counterparts across the world to celebrate Eid-El-Fitr on Tuesday.

The festival marks the end of the month-long Ramadan fast.

In Niger State worshippers gathered at the Minna Eid ground as early as 7:00 am.

Among them were members of the royal families led by the Emir of Minna, Umaru Farouk. They added colours to the event as they rode on their colourfully adorned horses and camel to the eid ground.

The Deputy Governor of Niger State, Ahmed Ketso and top government officials were also at the Eid ground to observe prayers.

Delivering sermon before the commencement of the prayers, the Chief Sermoner, Muhammadu Masha’Allah urges Muslims to imbibe the virtues of Prophet Muhammad which include love for humanity, neighbourliness, and righteous living.

Members of the royal families led by the Emir of Minna, Umaru Farouk also added colours to the event as they rode on their colourfully adorned horses to the eid ground.

Horse riders also added colours to the celebration at Bauchi eid groud.
