One of the Counsels representing the detained Convener of #RevolutionNow Protest, Omoyele Sowore, has alleged that the Department of State Service has repeatedly blocked a bailiff of the Federal High Court in Abuja from serving a fresh court order for his release.
In a phone conversation with Channels Television, the lawyer, Mr Sam Ogala, said the bailiff first arrived the DSS headquarters in Abuja around 9.30 a:m on Friday but was asked to return by 12:00 pm when the Director-General of the DSS, Yusuf Bichi, would be around.
According to him, the bailiff returned to the DSS headquarters at about 12:14 p.m, but was denied access.

Sowore’s Lead Council, Femi Falana (SAN), had on Thursday expressed shock over the DSS’ claim that it had not been served with the order issued by Justice Taiwo Taiwo, granting bail to his client.
Falana said, Ayuba Adam of the Legal Department of the agency had received the court order on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.
Sowore is, however, yet to be released despite his lawyer stating that he had fulfilled all the bail conditions.
