The governor while asking the committee to make suggestions on how to control the land borders as most of the problems rocking the country are being imported daily from the neighboring countries believes that traditionally since the creation of Nigeria, there were some tribal and religious tensions, boundary disputes as well as communal clashes in some parts of the country.
