Masari Attests That Katsina Security Is Improving

Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State on Friday attested that the security situation is positively and drastically improved in the state in the last three months.

Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State on Friday attested that the security situation is positively and drastically improved in the state in the last three months.

He prayed that peace will continue to prevail in the state and the country at large for all the Internally Displaced Persons to return to their various communities hitherto ravaged by the activities of terrorists.

Masari who is delivering his last Sallah message as Governor of Katsina State expressed hope that the incoming administration in the State and the country at large will do better in terms of the welfare and overall development of the people, stressing the need for more unity among the citizens to move the state and the country forward.

The Governor was speaking shortly after performing the two Rak’at Eid-El-Fitr prayers led by Malam Mukhtar Usman Jibia at the famous Shehu Usmanu Bin-Fodiyo Jumu’at Mosque, Modoji Area, Katsina State which was attended by hundreds of residents from within and outside the State.

“We had a very good Ramadan with zero controversies with regard to the moon sighting and completion of fasting. We thank Allah for his mercies.

“Based on the choice we made in terms of looking at the welfare and overall development of the state and the residents, We are moving the state base on capability.

“So with unity, we can move the state forward,” he said
