A 10-year-old girl has been found in Lagos State with suspected hard drugs.
According to Spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, the girl was found in the Agege area of the state.
Hundeyin said the minor claimed her mother hid the suspected hard drugs on her to beat a police checkpoint.
“We found the girl roaming on the streets. She was carrying drugs in her pant. She said it was her mother that puts it there so that she can beat police checkpoint.
“We interviewed the girl and later handed her over to her relatives,” Hundeyin said.
