Nollywood actor, Francis Duru, has lost his 15-year-old son Ifeanyi.
The mourning father described Ifeanyi as a “champ” and a “lion” who fought fearlessly.
“My champ! My lion, you fought like a lion. If this is the way he wants it, so be it. I still judge you faithful,” he said in a Thursday Instagram post alongside a photo of the late child.
“Ifeanyi, my champ. I will miss you, son. I will forever love you. Rest in peace son…rest….I give you thanks, Lord!”

‘Please, Stay Strong’
The sudden news stunned fans and colleagues, as Duru had just celebrated his son Ifeanyi’s 15th birthday in December 2023.
An outpouring of condolences has since flooded his posts on Instagram, where they offer words of comfort to the grieving actor and his family. The well-wishers also sympathised with the actor on X.
