A former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung, has said that men of proven character were chosen to lead the opposition coalition of the African Democratic Party (ADC).

Dalung, a minister under the administration of ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, was a guest on Channels Television’s Lunchtime Politics programme on Thursday.

According to him, there is no video clip showing the ADC Chairman David Mark stuffing dollars into his pocket, unlike the chairmen of some other political parties.

Dalung further said that the coalition didn’t hijack the ADC as claimed by the party’s 2023 presidential candidate Dumebi Kachikwu. The former minister insisted that ex-ADC chair, Ralph Nwosu, formally handed over to David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola as the party’s interim National Chair and Secretary, respectively.
