Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have reignited their longstanding feud, trading insults, accusations, and personal jabs across social media.

The clash resurfaced after Minaj suggested Cardi manipulated sales of her new album, Am I the Drama? for certification.

“Why you keep bringing up my album??” Cardi wrote on X. “It’s not the gag that you think it is.”

Minaj appeared to mock Cardi’s double platinum milestone, pointing to her album’s $4.99 price tag in a since-deleted post.

She then twisted Cardi’s track Magnet into a diss, writing, “Fallin off the charts wit a big bellyyy.”

Minaj accused Cardi of cheapening her craft with discounts, a charge that provoked a sharp defence from Cardi.

Cardi clapped back by questioning why Minaj compared herself with younger acts instead of her seasoned contemporaries.

“You been in the game like 16 years.. you need to compare yourself to your peers,” Cardi declared.

She referenced Rihanna, Drake, and Taylor Swift as the peers Minaj should compete against, not herself.

The feud escalated when Minaj targeted Cardi’s pregnancy, writing, “pregnant wit da 4th babeeee… allegedly.”

Cardi, who is expecting her fourth child, condemned the comments: “Alright now this is the third tweet talking about my pregnancy.”

“Lord protect my babies,” she added, emphasising the seriousness of dragging her children into the dispute.

Minaj continued her offensive, branding Cardi “Barney Dangerous” and sharing AI images comparing her to the purple dinosaur.

She also accused Cardi of undergoing surgery to “look like me,” intensifying the personal tone of their exchanges.

Cardi mocked Minaj’s repeated use of her track, quipping, “Damn, she was streaming Magnet hard, huh??”

Past Wounds Resurface

Cardi dragged Minaj’s brother into the spat, referencing Jelani Maraj’s 25-year prison sentence for child assault. Cardi tweeted, taking the feud into darker territory.

This reference reignited memories of earlier incidents, including their infamous 2018 clash during New York Fashion Week.

The online row began Monday with Minaj’s album sales jab, then escalated through rewritten lyrics, AI mockery, and pregnancy digs.

By Tuesday, Cardi responded with comments about Minaj’s family and alleged substance use.

On Wednesday, Minaj targeted Cardi’s daughter Kulture, prompting further outrage and prolonging the feud.

Though not directly involved, Latto and JT’s names surfaced amid Cardi’s separate clashes with Ice Spice’s management and her sister’s defence.

At one point, Cardi apologised for mentioning Latto and promised to “privately buy her a bag.”

JT meanwhile, fought with Cardi’s sister Hennessy, trading insults in unrelated side drama.

Industry Shade

Minaj also took swipes at Roc Nation, a frequent target of hers, and accused Jay-Z of wearing a wig.

She suggested industry figures conspired to undermine her career, fuelling her narrative of industry sabotage.

Cardi dismissed these claims, focusing instead on Minaj’s obsession with her album and family.

Minaj went further by calling for a boycott of companies associated with Cardi.

“We will boycott every company attached to her,” she declared. “Just like we did with BET.”

She gave brands “three days to cut ties,” warning, “If you underestimate my influence, try me.”

Cardi’s Bow

Cardi concluded her tirade by urging Minaj to seek therapy and heal personal trauma.

“YOU NEED TO GET HELP!!” she wrote. “You need to heal that trauma.. you always coming at people.”

She added, “I’m not throwing away my career and endorsements going back and forth with a possessed drug addict.”

The rivalry between Minaj and Cardi has persisted for nearly a decade, flaring whenever one achieves success.

Their 2018 altercation set the tone for years of animosity, fuelled by competitiveness and clashing personalities.

This latest exchange suggests their feud is far from over, with careers and reputations once again on the line.
