OlamideSelf-acclaimed ‘Voice Of The Street’ rapper, Olamide has released two spanking new videos for the tracks – Sitting On The Throne and Anifowose.

The videos were directed by popular female director, Kemi Adetiba who has directed several videos for A-list artistes such as Bez, Wizkid and E.M.E’s first lady, Niyola.

 

Meanwhile, MTV Base has named the superstar as the channel’s Artist of the Month for March.

Starting from the streets, Olamide came into the spotlight in 2010 with hits singles like “Durosoke, Badoo…. he has since then wormed his way into the hearts of many Nigerians and is now a brand to reckon with.

Olamide who was recently a co-host on MTV Base’ weekly music chart, Official Naija Top Ten with MTV VJ, Ehiz, will be featured on the channel throughout the month of March. To shine a spotlight on this sensational Nigerian artist, MTV Base has put the music video for Olamide’s “Turn Up” on high rotation.

“I’m so excited that MTV Base has decided to celebrate my work. It’s a big privileged to be honoured by a huge platform like MTV and it can only get better.” Olamide said during his interview on “Spotlight on Olamide”.

The channel is also focusing its lens on Olamide via a range of themed programming about the artist, to be broadcast across its pan-African TV footprint throughout the month of March. Olamide- themed programmes include Olamide: 54 Secons, Olamide: Top 5 Tips, “Spotlight on Olamide”, “My Mixtape & Videography: Olamide”, and “The Truth: Olamide”
