business morningAs Nigeria prepares to host the World Economic Forum on Africa, players in the SME sector have advocated the incorporation of SMEs into the discussions at the forum.

The CEO, Total Ascent, Mr. Tosin Okojie and an Innovation and Business Expert, Uzo Nduka, who were on Channels Television’s, Business Morning, believe there is no way an inclusive growth can be achieved without the SMEs being involved to help formulate policies that will spur growth.

According to them, concerted efforts needs to be made to disseminate information about the WEFA and considerations should also be given to businesses in the rural area.

They said that the SMEs as well as the multinationals can use the opportunity to synergize and see what opportunities are there for them.

For the SMEs, they believe the WEFA would provide them the opportunity to engage with people who can provide them with financial and technical assistance for them grow.
