The immediate past Minister of Information, Mr Labaran Maku, has defected from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the February 2015 governorship election in Nasarawa State.
Mr Maku, a governorship hopeful on the platform of the PDP, lost the party’s ticket to new entrant, Alhaji Yusuf Agabi who defeated Maku and three other contenders.
Sources at the All Progressive Grand Alliance headquarters in Abuja, confirm Maku’s name was submitted before the December 26 deadline set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to contest the governorship position on the platform of APGA.
