Obiano Meets Industrialists, Seeks Solution To Recession

obianoAnambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, says the future of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), is very bright, owing to the numerical strength and exploits of the party in recent times.

Governor Obiano who is the National Leader and Chairman of Board of Trustees of APGA, made the statement during the inauguration of the newly elected State Executive Officers of the party at Dr Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, the capital of Anambra State.

The occasion also featured the grand rally of the party which, according to the National Chairman of the party, Mr Victor Ike Oye, is an indication of the transformation of the party on the path of growth and development.

The occasion, which had a full complement of all the past and present executive members of the party including the former National Chairman of the party, featured match past of APGA contingents from the 21 Local Government of the state which gave a boost to the event.

Stepping out to the podium for the inauguration of the State Executive members, the Governor alongside the National Chairman, urged the new Executive Officers to brace up to the challenge of converting as many as they could, to the party, ahead of the next election.

In his acceptance speech on behalf of the new Executive members, the State Chairman, Mr Nobert Obi, pledged the loyalty and support of his team to the party and to the APGA led government.

Mr Obi, however, extolled the sterling qualities of the Governor who he said had transformed the State in a short while.

Part of the activities of the inauguration and grand rally was the acceptance and decoration of over 500 members of various political parties who joined APGA.
