The Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Professor Bem Angwe, has reaffirmed the Commitment of Nigeria to ensuring accountability for human rights violations.

Professor Angwe reaffirmed the country’s commitment in a statement by the spokesman for the NHRC on Sunday.

He gave the assurance in Washington, United States of America, at a meeting of global rights bodies.

Professor Angwe said that the NHRC would continue to hold all government agencies accountable for all forms of human rights violations.
