Recently attacked northern Nigerian city of Kano is still faced with great security threats, as a police spokesman confirms that authorities have found 10 unexploded car bombs.
According to a report by the Associated Press, Kano State police spokesperson Magaji Musa Majiya confirmed the finds, adding that one car bomb had been discovered near a police station in the Kano state capital city, which suffered coordinated bomb attacks and gun battles on Friday.
Majiya said other car bombs were found in different locations around nothern Nigeria’s largest city where over 160 people were killed in a series of attacks.
Despite promises by the government to beef up security, the city’s 9 million population still live in fear and many are beginning to flee Kano city in fear of further attacks.
