
Mr. Farouk who said this in Abuja at the award ceremony of the National Youth Essay Competition organised by the NOA also said that lack of continuity in implementation of government policies has been largely responsible for the state of underdevelopment being experienced in the country.
Also speaking at the occasion, director general of NOA, Mike Omeri says Nigerians below the age of thirty who constitute the bulk of the nation’s population need to be in the vanguard of propagating government policies with the aim of transforming Nigeria into a better nation.
The essay competition which had as its theme as strategies for taking the benefits of oil subsidy to the highest number of Nigerians, attracted entries from the thirty-six states of the federation and the federal capital territory.
