The leadership of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) led by Chief Victor Umeh has announced the indefinite suspension of six members of the party over alleged anti-party activities.

Addressing a news conference in Abuja shortly after a meeting of the party’s national working committee, Chief Umeh said the suspension of the affected members is in accordance with Article 21 (2) of the party’s constitution.

Reacting on behalf of the affected members, the suspended deputy national chairman [north] Alhaji Sadeeq Masalla stated that their previous action of suspending Chief Umeh as national chairman and Alhaji Sani Shinkafi as national secretary was done in order to salvage the party.
