An Environmentalist, Desmond Majekodunmi and a Journalist, Tunde Akingbade speak on the environmental impact of the absence of beach fronts in Lagos.
Mr Majekodunmi said that 10 months ago, President Goodluck Jonathan, who had visited Lagos and inspected a shipwreak gave an instruction that the wreaked ship be removed from the shoreline.
However, despite the fact there is an agency of government responsible for removing shipwreaks from the shoreline, nothing has been done about the president’s order.
