Channels Television visited Okene, the mournful city in Kogi state, where unknown gunmen killed about 17 church worshippers during an evening service in the Deeper Life Bible Church.

Family members of victims that were killed in the attack narrate their experience and how they are coping with the loss.
Meanwhile, the Police authority in Kogi state have announced the arrest of 16 more suspects in connection with the killings of 20 members of the Deeper Life Bible Church and two soldiers in Okene, Kogi state last week.
The state Police Command had last week, paraded three suspects including a woman for allegedly committing the murders.
The Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO) in Kogi state, Mr. Simon Ile, however denied allegation of high-handedness levelled against security operatives posted to maintain peace in area.
This development is coming as the people in Okene come to terms with the attacks that left several people dead at a church in Okene. So far, most shops remain locked in the city and the city center remains a shadow of itself as the dusk to dawn curfew is still in place.
