Reported injured, Andy Carroll is billed to be back on board from injury for West Ham against Queens Park Rangers (QPR) as manager Sam Allardyce confirmed his return to Loftus Road.
Though on loan, Andy Carroll who was the striker for Liverpool has been glued to the bench for four whole weeks with hamstring injury which he sustained last month during his debut match for West Ham as Allardyce confirmed that the striker will be back tonight.
The 23-year-old, who has moved to Upton Park until the end of the season, was outstanding on his debut against Fulham before being forced off after just 68 minutes, making West Ham play without a win recorded, scoring twice in three games.
Carroll has made a quicker recovery than expected but, despite returning to the squad two weeks ahead of schedule, is not ready to start against the Premier League’s bottom side.
The news Carroll’s return to fitness will also delight and serve as a boost for England manager Roy Hodgson as the English squad meeting San Marino and Poland on Thursday for this month’s World Cup qualifiers will be named.
