An industrial action by the Ogun state chapter of Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) , on Friday stalled the trial of the former governor of the state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel.
A visit to the State High Court located at Isabo area of the state capital, South West Nigeria revealed that offices and gates leading to the court were locked.
The striking union members were said to have embarked on an indefinite strike over the non-payment of the Consolidated Salary structure allegedly promised them by the state government
The former governor is standing trial on a 28 count, ranging from misappropriation of public funds, alleged fraudulent conversion of public properties and abuse of office among other charges.
