The Director General of the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON), Alhaji Abubakar Jijiwa, explains why Nigerian broadcasters have refused to pay the 8million Euro media rights charged by a French company for Nigerian media to air the matches of the forth coming African Nations Cup matches on terrestrial TV stations.

According to the BON boss, the rights for AFCON 2013 is over precised despite the fact that the tournament is already sponsored by a telecoms company; Orange.

Alhaji Jijiwa and a host of other panelists explained the reasons behind the media rights crisis that will deny millions of Nigerians the privilege of watching the matches in their homes on Channels TV weekend breakfast show Sunrise.
