The Federal Government has again stressed the need for government at all levels to deliver the dividends of democracy to Nigerians.
The Minister of Information, Mr. Labaran Maku echoed this when he led members of the National Good Governance Tour Team to Bayelsa state in continuation of the groups’ tour of the projects in the south-south region and across the country.
The team made up of journalists, professionals and members of the civil society, on its way from Rivers State were received at the entrance into the state capital, Yenagoa by some members of the State Executive Council.
On Its first stop while entering the city, the minister expressed displeasure at the pace of work on the 33.5km Okaki-Enegwe road.
Thereafter, the team proceeded to Government House, Yenagoa to register its intentions with the state governor represented by his deputy, Rear Admiral John Jonah (Rtd).
As the National Good Governance Team combs the state for progress report on projects, there would be opportunity for citizens to engage the government on the level of work done.
