A faction of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has asked the National Judicial Council (NJC) to investigate the Chief Judge of Enugu State, Justice Innocent Umezulike.

The national vice chairman of the faction, Mr. Tayo Showunmi told a news conference in Abuja on Wednesday, that the party is dismayed that the suit that removed the national working committee of the party was filed 18 months after the national convention, which was nullified.

Mister Showunmi added that only the removed national chairman, Chief Victor Umeh was the defendant in the suit and not even the party in its entirety.

Meanwhile, the former chairman of the APGA, Chief Umeh, has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to allow political parties to make court their first option in the settlement of internal party crisis.
