The Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Aruma Oteh says the commission is hoping to boost the domestic bond market with learning from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) who’s had experiences on Long term bond.

This is due to the Commission’s aggressive drive to meet up with its agenda of providing strong regulation and market development that will support the diversification of the Nigeria economy.

At a conference today in Lagos to help deepen the domestic bond market, the DG SEC said the commission will tap into experiences of a World Bank group like the international finance corporation that is capable of Long term bond issue which supports Nigeria businesses to avoid risk.

The partnership she says will help the housing revolution of Nigeria.
