A representative of the Special Adviser to the president on Youth and Student Matters, Dickson Iroegbu has accused Nigerian leaders of not carrying out their duties properly.

“Our leaders are not leading; they are not leading right, they are not showing right examples and when the youths are not properly informed, they tend to copy what they are seeing,” he said on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, on Friday.

He stressed that “leaders of the land must think differently when they approach national issues” adding that while they play politics they should remember that our position, as major stakeholders in this country, is clear”.

He reiterated the fact that Nigeria must be governed properly and charged the youths to strategically position themselves for the leadership challenge that lies ahead.
