Nigerian airforceResidents of Kpaduma, a community in Nigeria’s Federal Capital have appealed to the Government to improve their standard of living with the provision of basic social amenities.

The residents made the call when Nigerian Airforce personnel visited their village to offer them free medical assistance.

Young and old people in Kpaduma gathered to receive free medical services from the Nigeria Airforce, but beyond the medical attention they were receiving, the head of the community, Mr Fajemi Karayi, appealed to the Government to provide basic amenities that would make life more meaningful for them.

They criticized the Federal Capital Territory administration for non-provision of social amenities like health centre.

Medical experts from the Nigeria Airforce also explained the reason for their visit to the community, and part of this is drawn from the living condition of people in the area, as Kpaduma community is one out of several areas in the Federal Capital Territory begging for the provision of social amenities.

Although residents of Kpaduma community said that they were looking forward to more of this charitable gesture, many of them hoped that the Federal Capital Territory administration would take a cue from the Nigeria Airforce’s little show of kindness.
