Protesting-women-in-Abuja-ChibokThe Kano wing of the Bring Back Our Girls took to the streets to protest the need for federal government and international community to intensify pressure towards bringing back the Chibok abducted girls by Boko Haram insurgents.

At the Race Course ground in Kano, leader of the group, Amina Hanga, said they are out on the street to shoulder support to other women across the country to press home the need for the immediate release of the school girls.

Recently, leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau, released a video of the girls claiming they all have accepted Islam. At the APC progressive lectures in Kano, governors promised to rebuild all infrastructure in Chibok.

The state Commissioner of Police Mr. Aderele Shinaba told the women that security operatives are engaged all over the country as all resources deployed towards identifying and locating the location of the girls.
