The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had put the current total number of registered voters in Nigeria at 68,833,476 and going by INEC’s claim that it had achieved 73 per cent PVC distribution, about 50. 2 million cards have been collected by registered voters while 18.6 million cards are still uncollected.
The electoral body had said that it would achieve at least 85 per cent distribution of the PVC before the elections.
