The Pastor and founder of Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has described the new Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, as a blessing to the people of the state and Nigeria, saying he is someone that has the potentials of transforming the state.
Speaking to Channels Television when he visited the Governor on his first day in office in Kaduna, Pastor Bakare expressed confidence that El-Rufai will deliver on his campaign promises to the people.
He therefore called on citizens of the state to support the governor in his bid to make Kaduna ”great again”.
On his first day in office, the Governor dedicated the whole day to meeting with Heads of ministries, departments and agencies of government, for a brief on the state of affairs in their respective offices, especially the financial status of the state.
El-Rufai met with the Head of Service, the Permanent Secretaries and principal officers of Ministries of Agriculture, Rural and Community Development, Ministry of Works and Transport, Ministry of Economic Planing and Ministry of Water Resources.
The former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nasir El-Rufai was on Friday sworn in as the democratically elected Governor of Kaduna State.
