Police in Ogun StatePolice have arrested 17 crime suspects alleged to have been involved in armed robbery, cultism and ritual killings in Ogun State.

The suspects were paraded at the State Headquarters of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital in Nigeria’s southwest region.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, Mr Muyiwa Adejobi, said that the suspects were arrested after a useful information from residents of the state.

He disclosed that among those arrested was a 30 year-old cobbler, a native of Cross River State who impersonated and disguised as a military officer to defraud some persons.
