chibok girlsThe Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) Campaigner, Aisha Yesufu has said that the government is missing out on credible intelligence in the rescue of over 200 Chibok girls that were abducted by Boko Haram.

She stated that the girls have been missing for 731 days and today marks the 2nd anniversary since their abduction.

The BBOG Campaigner disclosed that the federal government has not done much in finding the location of the Chibok girls and bringing them back.

Speaking as a guest on Channels Television’s breakfast progaremme, Sunrise Daily, the BBOG Campaigner stated that “it is the duty of the Nigerian Government to rescue the Chibok Girls, irrespective of who is president”.

She further stated that the government will not be doing the Chibok Girls is “a favour”, insisting that “it is their privileged as enshrined in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the government needs to do all it can to ensure the Chibok Girls are brought back home”.

She also expressed her displeasure at the Minister of Information’s comment concerning the Chibok girls proof of life video.

On April 14, 2014 the girls numbering 276 were kidnapped at night by Boko Haram sect, from the Chibok Government Secondary School, Borno State, Northeast Nigeria.
