Governors of Nasarawa and Benue States have stated their commitment to put an end to the farmers and herdsmen clashes bedevilling the both states.

They stated their commitment at the funeral of the late Osana of Keana, His Royal Highness, Senator Emmanuel Elayo at his palace in Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

While Mr Samuel Ortom believes Fulani herdsmen should be assisted by the government but not at the detriment of farmers, Mr Tanko Al-Makura believes the two states have recorded successes in nipping the menace in the bud.
