Six group matches have been concluded in Season 8 of the Channels National Kids Cup taking place at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos in south-west Nigeria.
In group A, Jakawan Primary School from Nasarawa State beat National Primary School from Lagos 5-2, while Amaise Central School from Abia defeated Pilot Primary School of Kastina 2-0.
In Group B, St. James Government School, Osun beat Ekiti’s L.A. Anglican Primary School 5-1, while the second match between representatives of Kogi and Niger will be played on Monday.
In group C, Focal Point from Kwara thrashed Lyncrest of Lagos 14-2 while L.G.A. Mohammed Kabir Primary School Kaduna beat Sambo Primary School from Jigawa 4-2.
Group D saw Arinze Primary School from Edo beat N.U.D Primary School from Ogun 5-0.
The group’s other match between representatives of Anambra and Delta would be decided on Monday.
