Oscar and grammy award winning actress come singer, Cher, goes classic for her new project, the “classic cher” show.
The singer who had dabbled into various musical genres over the years, from dance, pop and rock, as well as a number of high profile films, has announced that she is returning to Las Vegas.
The tour will open in February for three weeks at the Park Theater in Las Vegas’ Monte Carlo venue and will then move to Maryland in March before returning to Las Vegas in May.
You Never Reinvent Yourself
Sharing about her career so far, she says you try to take the most important things from each decade and merge them into a story about yourself and you try to make it as entertaining as you can.
Although the singer has performed thousands of times, she admits that she still suffers from stage fright before her performances.
Despite undergoing several career changes while still in the entertainment industry, the artist dislikes anyone saying she re-invented herself.
In her opinion, she says, you never reinvent yourself, you just pick something right. And maybe you’ve not done something new in a long time, and people realise how much they liked you.
She says a lot of people may not believe in your dreams but “you have to stiffen your back bone and believe in yourself and just do it”.
Some of the greatest stars have come from what doesn’t look good on paper, she highlighted.
