Ethiopia’s Leul Gabreselasia has won the 10-kilometre 2017 Okpekpe International Road Race in Edo State, South-South Nigeria.

Gabreselasia finished in 29 minutes 26 seconds to also clinch the top prize of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000).

His compatriot, Jemeh Bekele finished second in 29 minutes 34 seconds while Tanzania’s Ismail Juma ended in third position with 32 minutes 22 seconds.
