The Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has made some major appointments into the Federal Government’s agencies.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Director Press, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Bolaji Adebiyi.
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), is now headed by Professor, Bolaji Owasanoye, alongside 12 other members of the ICPC board.
The members of the board are, Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye-Chairman, Dr. Grace N. Chinda-Member, Okolo Titus M.-Member, Barr. Obiora Igwedebia-Member, Mrs. Olubukola Balogun-Member, Group Captain Sam Ewang (Rtd.) – Member, Justice Adamu Bello-Member, Hannatu Mohammed-Member.
Abdullahi Maikano Saidu-Member, Dr. Sa’ad Alanamu-Member, Yahaya Umar Dauda-Member, Khamis Ahmed Mailantarki -Member
Maimuna Aliyu-Member, Prof. Musa Usman Abubakar -Secretary

Meanwhile, the former chairman of the ICPC Mr. Ekpo Nta is now to head the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission, and has ten others on his team.
Prof Osinbajo has also approved the setting up of a Special Presidential Investigation panel for the recovery of public property. The chairman of the panel is Okoi Obona-Obla,
According to the statement, “The appointment of the chairman is for five years, while the tenure of all the members is four years. And these appointments are subject to senate confirmation.”
