Senate President Bukola Saraki has paid a visit to the former military head, Ibrahim Babangida, in Minna, Niger State capital.
They are currently in a closed-door meeting at the residence of Babangida.
Journalists were however not allowed entry to the residence as security operatives mounted barriers at the gate entrance.
Saraki had earlier landed at Minna Airport at 3:58 p.m and headed straight to Babangida’s residence.
At the end of the meeting which lasted for over one hour, the Senate President drove back to the airport but refused to brief journalists concerning details of the meeting with the former Head of state.
According to him, it was a ‘private meeting.’
Saraki was accompanied on the visit by Senator Shaba Lafiagi and Baba-Hakeem Ahmed among other aides.
