President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday attended the interfaith conference on Religious Harmony in Nigeria.

The event which held in Abuja was put together by the Interfaith Initiative for Peace ahead of the 2019 general elections.

The President advised Nigerians to ignore those who whip up religious and ethnic sentiments.

While lamenting over some irregularities which he said occurred during the just concluded primaries across the country, he urged Nigerians to remain law-abiding, ask questions and pray before casting their votes during the general elections.

Speaking further, President Buhari said he is proud that the era of what he described as ‘free money’ is over.

In attendance at the event were the Arch Bishop of Canterbury, former Heads of State, Generals Abdulsalam Abubakar and Yakubu Gowon and the CJN.

Others were the SGF, the co-conveners, Sultan of Sokoto Abubakar Saad and John Cardinal Onaiyekan.
