Some South West senators on Tuesday visited Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos House Marina, over the damaged carried out by residents who hijacked the #EndSARS protest.

The senators include; Ibikunle Amosun, representing Ogun Central, Oluremi Tinubu, Lagos Central, Solomon Adeola, Lagos West, Opeyemi Bamidele, Ekiti central, Ajayi Boroffice, Ondo North, Abiodun Olujimi, Ekiti South, Tolu Odebiyi, Ogun West, Lekan Mustapha, Ogun East, Adetunbi Olubunmi, representing Ekiti North, among others.

Senate Deputy leader, Ajayi Boroffice who spoke on behalf of the Senators said they are deeply hurt by the extent of damage carried out in Lagos.

He assured the state government of all necessary assistance To help rebuild all damaged infrastructure in the state and urged the Federal Government to support Lagos financially to cushion the effect of damages.

Senator Boroffice added that the Senate is working on a constitutional approval that will fast track and make sure that the demands of the youths are met as soon as possible.
