2023 Elections: Osinbajo, Wife Vote In Ikenne Local Government

The VP described the exercise as peaceful and orderly. 


Professor Yemi Osinbajo and his Wife, Lady Dolapo, have cast their votes at  Egunrege Abeigi ward one polling unit in Ikenne, the headquarters of Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State.

This is the first time the vice president is exercising his civic rights in his local government.

2023 Elections: Buhari Votes In Katsina

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) arrived at the polling unit as early as 7:15 am while accreditation of voters and voting commenced at 8:35am.

Osinbajo and his wife arrived at the unit at 9:54a.m; got successfully verified by the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) at 9:58 a.m. and voted at 10am.

Speaking to journalists shortly after the exercise, the VP described the exercise as peaceful and orderly.
